Species Specificity:Rat, cross-reaction with mouse and human

General Information:VEGFs (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factors) are a group of homodimer glycoproteins. The subunits are linked by disulfide bonds. (MW reduced form 18-24 kDa). VEGFs are involved in angiogenesis during embryogenesis and in tumour progression and generation of metastasis. They possess mitogenic characteristics and specifically increase the permeability of endothelia in blood vessels.

Special properties:The polyclonal antibody against VEGF-C is well suited to detect rat, human and mouse VEGF-C in body fluids, tissues and culture media.

Positive control:Metastasing tumours of different origin

Applications:ELISA, IP, IHC not tested

Secondary reagents:As secondary reagents we recommend the VECTASTAIN ABC Elite Kit Rabbit IgG (Ref. PK-6101) or ImmPRESS anti-Rabbit IgG (Ref. MP-7401)

Storage:-20°C
