| Specificity: | Alkaline Phosphatase (EC 3.1.3.1) |
| Applications: | Useful for immunohistochemistry and other immunological procedures. Conjugation to proteins (antibodies, avidin etc.) or non-covalent binding to anti-Alkaline Phosphatase for s. c.. APAAP system. Due to the high enzyme activity and turn over rate of the enzyme, very sensitive detection systems can be achieved. pH optimum at 9.6 - 9.8 (for IHC we recommend pH 8.2 to 8.5 dependent of the substrate composition). |
| Secondary reagents: | The following commercially available substrates can be recommended for IHC: VECTOR Red (Art. No.. SK-5100), VECTOR Blue (Art.No. SK-5300) or Fast Red TM (Art. No. AP001). |
