Presentation:	Protein G purified antibody, lyophilized from TRIS/HCl buffer 0.1 M, 0.2 M NaCl, 0.02% NaN3, pH 7.4. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml sterile water to get an antibody concentration of 1 mg/ml. Dilution buffers are depending on the type of application.

General Information:	The induction of angiognesis by VEGF-C and VEGF-A is mediated by VEGF-Receptors 2 and -3, while VEGF-B is bound by VEGF-Receptor-1 only. VEGF-D also acts trough VEGFR-3 in lymphangiogenesis and tumour metastasis.

Special properties:	The antibody against VEGFR-2 is well suited to detect the receptor in tissue fluids, culture media, and on the surface of different human cell types.

Secondary reagents:	As secondary reagents Avidin or Strepavidin conjugates are recommended. The label may be alkaline phosphatase (Ref. ZU051), peroxidase (Ref. ZU054).
