| General Information: | Goats were immunized with highly purified chicken IgY isolated from normal chicken yolk IgY. The resulting anti-IgY antibodies were immunoaffinity purified off a chicken IgY immunoabsorbant column and conjugated with biotin. |
| Applications: | Western Blot, IHC |
| Staining procedure: | The affinity purified antibodies react only with chicken IgY and not IgM or IgA immunoglobulins by immunodiffusion and IEP techniques. In a sandwich ELISA against 1 Ag/mL chicken IgY, conjugated antibody diluted to 0.1 Ag/mL produced an O.D. = 1.0 in a 15 minute reaction with TMB substrate. Suggested tissuestaining dilution: 1: 300 to 500. Optimal conjugate working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions. |
