Polyclonal Antibody

Origin:Mouse

Isotype:IgG

Clone:polyclonal

Format:liquid conc.

Quantity:50 µg

Concentration:1 mg/ml

Working concentration:WB 1 µg/ml, FACS 1 µg/ml

Presentation:Protein A purified antibody from mouse serum in PBS, pH 7.2

Immunogen:Recombinant protein, whole sequence of human FPRL1

Specificity:FPRL1, syn. FMLP-R-II; FPR2

Species Specificity:Human, other species not yet tested

General Information:Low affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides, which are powerful neutrophils chemotactic factors. Binding of FMLP to the receptor causes activation of neutrophils. This response is mediated via a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The activation of LXA4R could result in an anti-inflammatory outcome counteracting the actions of proinflammatory signals such as LTB4 (leukotriene B4).Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.Tissue specificity: Expressed abundantly in the lung and neutrophils. Also found in the spleen and testis. Sequence similarities: Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Special properties:This antibody detects FPRL1 in transfected 293T cell lysates by western blot and FPRL1 expressing 293T cells by flow cytometry.

Positive control:Lung, neutrophils

Pre-treatment:

Applications:WB, FACS, other applications not tested yet

Secondary reagents:Anti-mouse IgG:Biotin conjugate (code no. ZU102) in combination with Streptavidin-HRPO (code no. ZU054) and a suitable substrate e.g. DAB (Ref. DA002) or AEC (Ref AE002).

Storage:-20°C

UniProt Accession No.:   P25090 (FPR2_HUMAN)
