Quantity:1 ml

Concentration:50 µg/ml

Working concentration:1:25-1:50

Presentation:Purified antibody from rabbit serum in PBS, BSA, sodium azide*

Immunogen:Synthetic peptide fragment of human Claudin-2, C-terminal

Specificity:Claudin-2 (22-24 kDa)

Species Specificity:Human, mouse

General Information:Claudin 1-8 are a family of transmembrane proteins, which are associated with tight junctions. They are responsible for the contacts between cells. They form a molecular network inhibiting the leakage of ions and water. Tight junctions are numerous on the luminal side of epithelia and the composition of Claudins are different in different tissues.

Special properties:The antibody is well suited for the detection of Claudin-2 in tissue slices.

Positive control:Intestine, Colon-Ca

Pre-treatment:Formalin-fixed tissue should be pre-treated with citrate buffer pH 6 (Art. No. DE000) 10-20 min at 100°C, cooling down for 20 min until RT is reached.

Applications:IHC (C,P)

Incubation time:60 min at RT or 18 hr at 2-8°C

Secondary reagents:Anti-Rabbit IgG, biotinylated (Art. No. ZU101) in combination with Streptavidin:HRPO (Art. No. ZU054).

Storage:2-8°C

Notes:
*BIOLOGO's antibodies are intended for in vitro research use only. They must not be used for clinical diagnostics and not for in vivo experiments in humans or animals.
